Inspired by real life, the film was designed around Burt Berger, a street musician living in Los Angeles, who stars as himself alongside actor Oliver Cooper. Burt, both in the movie and real life, lives with Parkinson’s Disease, bringing an unparalleled authenticity to his portrayal. This deeply personal film is a love letter to Burt, his incredible music, and to the filmmaker’s own father, who is also living with Parkinson’s.
